Made these in Las Vegas last week

That was alot of fun out there and the class I took was great! I made these but as usual the photo quality is not that great..... The glass vase was using the blue and steel blue on clear. The paper weight was using dichroic and putting bubbles in it on purpose......using clear glass....

Finished another order!

I love the shape of this bowl and the colors were picked by my client. I think it turned out very nice..I do need to get a better photo set up though. Sold and they loved it.

Having fun doing silver work!

Here is my latest piece! This silver stuff is addictive!!!!!I love doing these. Got to stop doing these pieces of jewelry and get to my orders for some big bowls.....they need to be done quick......

Ginkgo design!!!

My Ginkgo design! This red glass is incredible. I just love it....and I'm out now ....need to go get more! The clear is Irridized but does not show up in the picture....too bad....

Orders are done!!!!

Top 2 are alittle better!Finished the 2 pieces that were ordered. Both were made and slumped by me....lol....I need to take better pictures in the daylight before my customer comes to pick them up tomorrow.......my blue countertop takes over through the clear in the pieces.....

Got the ear rings done!

I made the pendant the other day in class and then last night at home I made the ear rings...so it is now a set......I love the color!!!!!

Hot out of the tumbler!!!!

I just made these 2 pieces tonight. This one is so cool. It matches a set of earrings-watch/bracelett and a ring. Then there is this great ring!

This piece is such a great piece....Silver with the back of the piece cut out and just a very fine piece. It sold at the show last weekend. I'll have to make another one!

Snowing again!!!!!

I love this night light because it just looks like such a happy one (if a night light can look happy). Something about the jagged edges and the light showing through the white of the petals. You can't see the dichro that I used in the center of the flower. But it is there and looks great.

Made this paper weight out in Vegas also. It's not a very good picture but it is a flower in side there with a bubble for the center of the flower.

A snowy Monday!

I used up some of the irridized glass that I had on hand for stained glass on this garden bench. Then I used the liquid fusion to seal it to finish it. Liquid fusion really made the colors pop!

Time to settle down again

Had a show this weekend and glad that it is over....but would do this show again!!!!! This piece sold and I was very pleased to have someone just love it....as much as I do/did....bad picture but great piece!!!!!

Friday and all is well

This is a thick piece with the use of some paints for accent in the flowers...stringers for movement and dichroic glass for the centers of the flowers and the glass is clear irridized not blue. I love this piece!!!!

Middle of the week!!!!!

The detail in this table top stand is here. The stand is here also. I just love all the color in this piece.....and it's not blue!


This small plate could be a candle holder I love the way that it turned out. Silver was used for the stars. It's sold right away. Did you notice the blue is irridized so it gives off a soft color change.

This second piece was made in Patty Gray's class. I named it "Iris." The Iris is made using black stringers and just kind of made a loose iris. The class was worth it completely...we had sooo... much fun.
The first piece is a platter and made in my studio and totally made by me. It does not show but it is out of irridized glass so there is a irridized color in it. It sold right away...so I did'nt get a great picture before it sold.

Monday Blues

A great piece that I made in Las Vegas last spring at the Hot Shop while theGlass Expo was going on. I took a class there and was able to make 3 pieces. Going again to Vegas to blow some more glass next month. That will be fun.....

This glass-silver piece is the first piece I made in my silver smith class.

Sunday's surprise

Sunshine is trying to peak through between the clouds. Cool but not as cool as it will be later this week! Oh......winter is upon us. Here's a fun twist on a sun catcher. This one is a combination of a fused flower and some lampworked "wonky" beads.

This really cool small plate is made with gold leaf and can be used as a candle holder as well as a desert plate. Sold right away....

Fused Glass

My first post on this blog...I've been doing fusing now for about 4 years and loving it. This piece is a beauty and someone is now enjoying this little beauty (night light at top of page) at their home. The night light that is!
